Pamplona
Internationally known as the city of the San Fermín Festival, Pamplona is a city full of life three hundred and sixty-five days a year. Pamplona offers history, gastronomy, culture, art, sport, natural spaces… and a wide range of activities for tourists and locals alike.
San Fermín
From 6 to 14 July, Pamplona is transformed for what is considered to be the best festival in the world. With the Txupinazo, the city turns white and red, opening the event with a multitude of activities for all audiences, culminating in the closing song, “Pobre de mí”. The procession in honour of the saint, processions of giants and big heads, concerts, regional folklore… And, of course, the traditional bullfights. An unforgettable experience for anyone who attends.
Camino de Santiago
Pamplona is passed through by pilgrims on the French Route. The two-kilometre route through the city takes in the most important monuments: the city walls, the cathedral, Calle Estafeta and Calle Mercaderes, the Taconera Gardens and the Citadel.
Nature
Within a small area, Navarre offers a varied and surprising landscape, from the peaks of the Pyrenees in the north to the Bardenas Reales desert in the south. Its forests, ravines, lakes, caves and nature reserves are ideal for those who want to enjoy nature while travelling.
Gastronomy
The cultural and natural wealth of Navarre has been the key to the success of its gastronomy. The excellent vegetables from its fields, the wines with designations of origin and artisan products all contribute to a varied and surprising menu.
